• Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities
• Provide technical advice and guidance to your customers on their IT infrastructure and agree on new technical solutions
• Conduct technical presentations and workshops to help your customers understand the product solution and remove potential barriers
• Close contact with Google sales and visiting Google locations
• Organising and participating in regular Google events

• Completed university studies with a technical background or comparable training
• Highly proficient in both written and spoken Swiss German
• Fluency in English
• Experience as a technical sales engineer, especially in the area of IT/cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies
• Knowledge of data and information management - especially regarding Big Data trends and related challenges in companies
• Experience in the architecture and development of software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems
• Tech-savvy with a good understanding of IT concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of CRM systems
• Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
• An understanding of agile methodologies in software development
