The Challenge
The company needed a solution for the time-consuming planning of checks on its fleet of over 430 vehicles. Employees had to contact the stations to arrange appointments, used several sheets and set reminders in their calendars to keep track. Service stations had to fill in checklists with pen and paper and send them to the customer.
The Solution
The process was digitized with the support of PCG by using AppSheet. Automations have been implemented to send appointment suggestions to car stations automatically. At the push of a button, these accept dates or send a counterproposal. Checklists are now easy to fill in the App and are sent immediately as PDF when finished.
Results and Benefits
The company got a tool to facilitate their fleet management. Its data is easier to work with, more consistent and less error-prone. Thanks to this platform, the maintenance, appointment arrangement and calendar view were moved into one source, saving time and resources. By implementing a role concept, users can see relevant information for their tasks.
